Using Emotional Freedom Techniques ( EFT/tapping) has been proven to be very effective and have a lasting impact when it comes to dealing with person’s emotional eating. Emotional eating is a common coping mechanism which unfortunately often lead to an unhealthy pattern/relationship with food, for example obesity and eating disorders which further impacts and jeopardises our overall wellbeing. The good news here is that with the use of EFT it is possible to overcome challenges you’re faced with or long term unhealthy behaviours. Tapping impacts what is often referred to as the “reward centre or brain’s pleasure centre” in our brain. By changing those neutral pathways as we work on those emotions, beliefs and attachments - we are, from that place, able to create a new way of feeling, and thinking including our relationship with food and the way we chose to eat.
