BODY - HEART - BRAIN- MIND COHERENCE

❤️ Our HEARTS play an important role in our emotional experience. The HeartMath Institute have conducted numerous studies which have provided new insights into understanding how the activity of the heart is linked to our emotions, vitality and well-being. The heart is in a constant two way dialog with the brain. We now know that the heart sends more emotions to the brain than brain to the heart. As we experience feelings like anger, frustration, anxiety, insecurity our heart rhythm becomes more erratic. These erratic patterns are sent to the emotional centre in the brain, our brain recognises these as negative or stressful feelings and we actually feel them in the heart area of our body. The risk of developing heart disease is significantly higher for people who experience stressful emotions often, studies found. Conversely, when we experience emotions of care, love, compassion, appreciation - the heart produces a very different rhythm. We physically feel gentle, warm feelings in the area of heart. Learning to shift out of stressful emotional reactions to these heartfelt emotions can have a profound positive effect on cardiovascular system and our overall health. At @coherencepersonalcounselling we use gentle, effective evidence based techniques and methods such as HeartMath and EFTto help you release negative emotions, increase your heart-brain coherence and assist your journey towards better overall health.
